BI-AXIAL 2-D SHAKING TABLE

For dynamic tests, the centrifuge incorporates a unique biaxial servo-hydraulic shaker to model earthquake-induced engineering problems (Shen et al., 1998 & Ng et al., 2001). The biaxial shaker is capable of simulating earthquake motions in two horizontal directions simultaneously. The shaker can accommodate a mode size of up to 0.6 m×0.6 m×0.4 m in size and up to 3,000 N in weight. The centrifuge can be operated at up to 75g for dynamic tests.
